A little bit about me…

I’ve always been someone who reflects deeply on my life, my patterns, on relationships, and why humans do what they do.

In 2020, during a time of collective uncertainty and trauma, I found myself supporting the people around me as they navigated anxiety, fear, depression, and overwhelm. What was evident after talking with close family and friends for many hours was that what they were struggling with didn’t start in 2020. The roots ran much deeper.

Again and again, I saw how early experiences, attachment wounds, and nervous system adaptations were shaping present-day reactions to things like isolation, uncertainty, and collective unease. The more I supported others, the more referrals came in from people who couldn’t get in to see therapists due to long waitlists. They needed support now and I realized this wasn’t something I could keep doing casually. It was something I needed to pursue intention and care as trauma work is delicate and if not done correctly can cause more harm than good.

I decided to became an Integrative Trauma Coach which taught me somatic, trauma informed care, and I began narrowing my focus to helping women. Today, I am also pursuing certifications in NARM, IFS, and somatic therapist to deepen and expand the way I serve my clients.

My work centers around helping women understand the root cause of their patterns, not just manage symptoms like traditional talk therapy tends to focus towards. I help clients explore why they react the way they do, how their nervous systems adapted to early environments, and how those adaptations still show up in their relationships, parenting, and inner dialogue.

My approach blends neuroscience, attachment theory, and somatic work with deeper reflective practices. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles, reparenting frameworks, meditation and visualization, pattern recognition, and nervous system education to help my clients in a comprehensive way. I believe that when you understand your body and your history, self-blame begins to soften and real change becomes possible.

Over the years, I’ve studied extensively across disciplines including trauma, human behavior, neurodivergence, hormonal influences on mental health, emotionally immature family systems, attachment theory, memory and stress physiology, anxiety, depression, and the mind–body connection. I care deeply about bridging science with lived experience in a way that feels practical and empowering.

A little about me personally:
I hold a bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a minor in Psychology from Northeastern University. I’m the eldest daughter of Albanian immigrants and came to the United States at five years old. That experience along with navigating identity, responsibility, and cultural duality, deeply shaped how I understand family systems and relational dynamics (especially in none western cultures).
I’ve been married to my soulmate since 2012 and I am the lucky mother of two beautiful children. My life outside of work includes gardening, hiking, cooking, foraging, rock balancing, traveling, walking through wealthy neighborhoods and critiquing home design choices.

My husband and I also spent 3 years living in India, where we studied traditional tantra yoga under Bhagavan Shri Shanmukha. This was an experience that profoundly expanded my understanding of the relationship between body, mind, and spirit. During my time at the ashram I was responsible for helping students integrate what came up for them during yoga. I helped them processes any emotional waves which are normal during hormonal shifts that happen through intensive yoga training.

I currently live in Chicago, Illinois, where I continue to support women in moving from survival-based patterns toward intentional, regulated living.

At the core of my work is this belief:
Nothing is “wrong” with you.
We just need to peel back the layers to get you back to yourself.
And when you understand how and why those layers were added, you gain the power to choose differently.

If you are still unsure about if we are a good fit to work together I am only an email away!
